Earlier this year we did a full gut renovation of our entire first floor and a portion of the upstairs space. We worked with Juan from Jairo directly since he was highly recommended by a family friend. He had worked on two of their homes and they couldn't say enough good things about his services. Juan proved to be worthy of their compliments as we could not be happier with the quality of his work, his reasonable rates and the time in which he completed all of our projects.
On the morning that he started our first job I knew we'd made the right choice. There was a door to our basement that didn't close properly and there were a few other handyman items that were not part of the scope that Juan noticed and fixed. He and his crew were willing to go the extra mile, like moving furniture, and they where very respectful of our home, I.E., removing their shoes prior to entering. The team was neat, and kept the job areas clean and tidy. Juan was highly organized, brought in great sub contractors, was responsive, incredibly reasonable and most of all trustworthy. He did things on our job that I would not expect from a contractor, I.E., he gave us surplus (amazing quality) backsplash tile he had available for free as an example. We trusted Juan to securely manage access in and out of our home while we where traveling, he accepted and secured packages for us and we felt like we where in good hands.
Juan was happy to act as a sounding board for us and provided great advise based on his experience with other projects. He provided insights and gave us options to help us make good decisions during each project. We think they paid off because when we where ready to sell in May due to a relocation, our house sold in 3 days, with multiple offers in a very 'soft' market. Our realtor said that our house stood out because of the improvements and the quality of the work.
After the sale of our home Juan quickly gathered the necessary subs and took care of the list of tasks from the home inspectors well ahead of closing, and at a fair price. It was, and continues to be a relief to know that we have an available contractor we can rely on and trust whenever mandatory, or elective work needs to be done. No matter how big, or small.
